Ed is a director and dramaturg, working primarily with new writing. He is from Bristol and based in London.

Forthcoming work: This Might Not Be It by Sophia Chetin-Leuner, at the Bush Theatre, Jan 30th - March 2nd 2024.

 

Ed has directed the premieres of Sam Steiner's plays Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons and A Table Tennis Play, and Marek Horn's plays Yellowfin and Octopolis.

Other credits include dance-theatre work The Limit for the Royal Ballet, and Tom Green and Carol Ann Duffy's chamber opera The World's Wife at Welsh National Opera.

He is currently developing new work with several writers, and with organisations including Hampstead Theatre, and Francesca Moody Productions. For screen, he is co-writing original feature drama The Endling, with Tessa Ross and Sarah Esberg producing.
